The O’Reilly Centre’s course ‘Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, a Hybrid Course for Physiotherapists’ is worth 16 CPDs and is delivered both online and in-person. Register and sign in on our online learning platform ‘Thinkific’. The course is organized into 3 sections and 26 lectures, each with readings and a quiz, a community forum for support from Siobhan and your peers, patient handouts and an e-book in “Self-Care Tips and Practices”.
The in-person workshop is 6 hours of classes that focus on developing your practical skills in breast cancer rehab. We keep our groups small, give lots of individual attention and prepare you to provide patients with the best care.
Once you have completed the online lectures, attended the practical workshop and completed your course evaluation, you will be awarded your 16 CPD Certificate in Breast Cancer Rehabilitation. You may download this from your dashboard area on the Thinkific learning platform.
…to support your learning, clinical practice and patient outcomes
Download and customise patient handouts to improve the quality of your clinical practice and patient outcomes. Patients appreciate having handouts with their specific exercises and guide notes as they learn about exercise, fitness and adopt self-care practices.
Courses combine current best evidence with clinical expertise and patient values to guide your health care decisions. Latest clinical guidelines and best evidence are listed for each course.
Each lecture has links to high quality topical resources that you can use to deepen your connectivity to this subject and/or can recommend to your patients.
